Terms of Use
These terms cover the Ticky website, the Ticky dashboard, the Ticky extension for Chrome and the Ticky helper for TradingView Desktop (together, “Ticky”). Ticky is made by Kabir, an independent founder (“we”). By creating an account or using Ticky, you agree to these terms and to the privacy policy. If you don't agree, don't use Ticky.
Who can use Ticky
- You must be 18 or older.
- One account per person. Keep your password to yourself; you're responsible for what happens in your account.
- Give a real email address you can read, so we can reach you about your account.
What Ticky is, and isn't
- A trading buddy and habit coach, not a financial adviser. Nothing Ticky says, on screen or from its AI, including its comments on your trades and its lessons on setups, is financial, investment or trading advice. It never tells you what to buy or sell, and never gives price targets or predictions. Lessons use past charts and TradingView's Replay, never your live chart.
- It never trades for you. Ticky doesn't place, change or cancel orders. Every trade is your decision, and trading can lose you money, including more than you expect.
- It can be wrong. Ticky reads your trades off the TradingView page and may miss, double-count or misread one. The AI coach can say things that are wrong or don't fit you, and with Let Ticky see my chart on, it can misread the chart. Check anything that matters against your broker's records.
- Not part of TradingView. Ticky isn't made, endorsed or supported by TradingView or your broker. You're responsible for following their terms when you use Ticky with them.
Early access
Ticky is in early access and free. Features can change or stop, and Ticky may be unavailable at times. If we start charging, we'll tell you first, show the price and renewal terms before you pay, and let you cancel from your account.
What you own, and what we own
- Your data is yours. Your trades, notes, chats and settings belong to you. You let us store and process them only to run Ticky for you, as the privacy policy describes. Delete them anytime from the dashboard or Ticky's settings.
- Ticky is ours. We own Ticky's software, name, character and design. We give you a personal, non-transferable right to use Ticky while you follow these terms. Open-source parts keep their own licenses (see credits).
- Feedback. If you send ideas or feedback, we may use them without owing you anything.
Please don't
- Break into, overload or probe Ticky's servers, or get around its sign-in or usage limits.
- Use Ticky's server or AI for anything other than using Ticky yourself, such as reselling it or running other programs through it.
- Use Ticky to break the law or anyone else's terms, or to harm other people.
- Copy Ticky's code or design to build a competing product.
Ending
You can stop using Ticky and delete your account at any time from the dashboard (Your data → Delete my account). We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts Ticky or other users at risk, and we'll tell you why unless the law or safety stops us.
No guarantees
Ticky is provided “as is” and “as available”. As far as the law allows, we make no promises that it will be accurate, uninterrupted, error-free or right for your needs, and we disclaim implied warranties such as fitness for a particular purpose.
Limits on responsibility
As far as the law allows, we aren't responsible for trading losses, lost profits, or indirect or consequential damages from using Ticky, or from relying on what it shows or says. Our total responsibility to you for anything related to Ticky is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the last 12 months or $50. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change, we'll update the date at the top. If a change matters to you, we'll email you before it applies. Using Ticky after that means you accept the new terms.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. If a part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies.
