Privacy
This covers the Ticky website and its waitlist, and the Ticky extension for TradingView (below). The rules for using Ticky are in the terms of use.
What we collect
- The email address you enter on the waitlist form.
- The trading platform you pick on the same form.
We don't use tracking cookies or ad trackers on this site, and our fonts are served from this site rather than from Google. When you join, your browser saves a small note that you're on the list, so the site doesn't ask you again. That note stays on your device.
Why we collect it
- To email you when your early-access invite is ready, and with occasional updates about Ticky.
- To decide which trading platforms to support first.
Where it's stored and who sees it
Only the Ticky team sees your information. These services hold or process it for us:
- Cloudflare hosts this website and stores the waitlist in a Cloudflare database.
- Google keeps a copy of the waitlist in a Google Sheet that we use to manage it.
- When we start sending updates, we'll use a dedicated email service, and we'll name it here before the first one goes out.
We don't sell, rent, or share your information with anyone else.
Your rights
You signed up by choice, and you can change your mind at any time. You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Every update email will have an unsubscribe link.
Deleting your information
You can unsubscribe from any email we send. To have your email and platform deleted completely, reply to any email from us or write to kabirshah050812@gmail.com. We'll delete it and confirm.
The Ticky extension
Ticky is a trading buddy that runs inside your TradingView chart page in Google Chrome. It never places, changes, or cancels an order.
- What it reads. Order confirmations and the order ticket on your TradingView chart page, to log your trades.
- Where your trades are kept. In your browser's storage for the extension, on your computer: your trades, your rules, the coach's nudges and your replies. We don't receive them. You can save a copy of your trades as a CSV file from Ticky's settings; it's saved on your computer and not sent anywhere.
- Comments on your trades. After each trade, Ticky says a short line about it (for example “Out for +$40 after 7 minutes”). It writes that line on your computer from your own trades; nothing is sent. You can turn comments off in Ticky's settings (Say a word about every trade).
- Let Ticky see my chart (off unless you turn it on). When it's on, each time Ticky comments on a trade it sends a picture of the chart area of your TradingView page, together with its own line about that trade (buy or sell, how many, the symbol and the result), through our server to Google's Gemini AI, so the comment can say where on the chart you got in or out. The picture shows only the chart area, not other tabs, your watchlist or your account panel, but it does show the symbol, prices and anything you've drawn on the chart. Our server passes it on without saving it. Turn it off in Ticky's settings at any time; nothing more is sent.
- The AI coach: what you type goes as written. When you chat with Ticky, your message and the recent chat (up to the last 40 lines) go to Google's Gemini AI to write a reply, exactly as typed. If you type a symbol, a price or anything else (“I keep losing on NVDA”), the AI receives it. Ticky itself never adds your trades, symbols or prices to a chat; only the trade comments above send a trade, and only with Let Ticky see my chart on.
- Talk to Ticky on the dashboard works the same way: the chat goes through the Ticky installed in that Chrome, with the same remembered facts, plus totals from your daily notes if My history is on. Facts it learns there are kept on your computer, like those from the chart. The dashboard chat itself isn't saved anywhere.
- What Ticky adds to a chat. If “My history” is on: summary numbers about your trading (counts, win rates and dollar totals, for example “this week: 14 trades, 33% won, −$340”) and one line per trading day for the last two weeks (date, trades, won, net dollars, which habits happened, how you answered nudges). Always: the short facts in “What Ticky remembers” (below). Turn off “My history” to send no numbers or days.
- What Ticky remembers. When you tell Ticky something lasting (a goal, a rule, what tilts you), the AI may save a short fact, shown in the chat as “I'll remember: …”. Up to 100 facts are kept on your computer and sent with your chats. Ticky refuses to save a fact that looks like a symbol or a price, but a fact is in the AI's words, from what you said. See and delete them in Ticky's settings; type “forget” to clear them and the chat.
- Through our server. Chats go to Ticky's server (a Cloudflare Worker) first, and from there to Gemini. The server sees them while it passes them on but doesn't save them: we keep no copy of your messages, numbers or facts, and our server logs don't record request contents. We keep a count of AI chats and chart comments per account per day, for the daily limits.
- Google's terms apply to what goes to Gemini. On Google's free tier, Google may use what it receives to improve its products. We'll update this page when that changes.
Who may use Ticky
Ticky is for adults who trade: you must be 18 or older to make an account. We don't knowingly hold accounts or data of anyone under 18; if we learn of one, we delete it. Ticky is a trading buddy and habit coach, not financial advice.
Your Ticky account
Ticky needs a free account, made on the Ticky dashboard. Installing the extension opens the sign-up page; Ticky turns on once you have an account.
- What the account holds. Your email address; your password, stored only as a scrambled one-way hash (we can't read it); which Ticky installs are linked to you (labelled like “Chrome on Mac”, with when each was linked and last used); and your daily notes (below).
- Google or Microsoft. If you continue with Google or Microsoft, they tell us your email address and an account number for you, nothing else (not your contacts, files or mail). Ticky only uses them to sign you in.
- Signing in. A sign-in cookie keeps you signed in on the dashboard for 30 days. It's only used to sign you in. Repeated wrong passwords are counted for 15 minutes to stop guessing.
- The AI coach is limited to 30 chats a day per account, and chart comments to 100 a day. We count them per day; we don't keep what you wrote or the chart pictures.
- Deleting your account. Use Delete my account on the dashboard (Your data). It deletes your account, your linked installs and all your notes at once.
Your dashboard (daily notes)
Your trades never leave your computer. Once your Ticky is linked to your account, it sends one short note per trading day (you can turn this off in Ticky's settings with Send daily habit notes) to our server, so you can see your habits over time on a private dashboard. Only daily habit notes leave your computer.
- What a note contains. The calendar date; how many trades you closed, how many won and lost; the dollars gained and the dollars lost that day; for each habit Ticky watches, how many times it happened and what those trades made or lost; how many nudges you answered with “take a break”, “keep trading” or “mute”; and, for each hour of the day you traded in (the local hour only, like 9–10 AM, never the minute), the number of trades and their dollars.
- What a note never contains. Symbols, prices, order sizes, single trades, a list of trades, your account or broker.
- Where it's kept. In a database on Cloudflare, on our server. Your notes are filed under a long random code that Ticky made on your computer, linked to your account. We store only a scrambled form (a hash) of that code, and our server logs don't record what's in a note. We keep at most 400 days per dashboard.
- Who can see it. Only you, signed in to your account, can see your notes.
- It's still personal. Notes leave out your trades, but dollar amounts, dates and the hours you trade still say something about you.
- Deleting. Use Delete my notes in Ticky's settings or on the dashboard: every note for your link is deleted from our server at once. Turn sending off so new days aren't sent.
Ticky is a trading buddy and habit coach, not a financial adviser. Nothing it says, including its comments on your trades and its lessons, is financial, investment or trading advice.
To delete everything Ticky keeps on your computer, remove the extension from Chrome. To delete your dashboard notes too, use Delete my notes first.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top. If the change matters to you, we'll email you about it.
